Becoming a festival volunteer


It's Festival Volunteer Sign-up Time!

At the Museum of Indian Culture festival preparations are well underway.

Volunteers are a vital part of the success of our festivals.

  • Perhaps you are asking yourself these questions:..
    • Can I help out only one day?
    • Do I know someone who can volunteer?
    • Can I bring a friend?
    • Is my work, school, or organization looking for a community service project?

If you answered "Yes" to any or all of these questions, then here are a few was you can take part before, during and after each festival...

Before the Festival:

  • Distribute Festival Flyers
  • Clean and Set-up Spring House, Pavilion, etc.
  • Yard Maintenance & Weed Gardens
  • Set-up Tents, Tables, etc
  • Fold Festival programs

During the Festival:

  • Empty garbage Cans
  • Litter Patrol
  • Food(Preparation, Cook, or Serve
  • Dish & Pot Washer
  • Runner
  • Parking

    After the Festival:

    • Take down tents, table, etc.
    • Breakdown Food Stand
    • Dish & Pot Washer
    • Take down Fence
    • Litter patrol
    • Empty garbage Cans
